Macclesfield FC Archives – The past, the present and the future!

Due to severe financial mismanagement by owner Amar Alkadhi, on the 16th September 2020, Macclesfield Town Football Club were dissolved after a high court ruling, tragically ending their tenure as a football club since their formation in 1874.

After much anger, upset and tears by the Macclesfield Town community and supporters, a saviour was found. On the 13th October 2020, a little less than a month after Macclesfield Town were wound up, Macclesfield FC were born under the stewardship of local businessman Robert Smethurst.

Here on the Macclesfield FC Archives, we will be showcasing all of the players who have represented this great football club. You will be able to find their player profiles, as well as the results for Macclesfield FC.

On the 1st April 2024, Macclesfield FC Archives site was corrupted. Unfortunately, this meant that all information, styling and data from the homepage was lost. Thankfully, all other pages were unharmed.
